A versatile, full-time freelancer, Lisa writes articles for many of Canada’s top magazines and newspapers. Lisa’s work also appears on the web, in books and even on greeting cards. Lisa writes on a wide variety of topics, and has a particular interest in health, parenting, nature/gardening, psychology and social trends. Lisa also has professional expertise in disability issues.

Lisa holds a National Magazine Awards honourable mention. She was also the first-place winner of Seventeen Magazine's fiction contest, and a finalist in the Writers’ Union of Canada Short Prose Competition for Developing Writers.
